Business card design in under an hour…

Got a desperate email from a previous web design client (Mawer for Less Photography) about changing some text on her current business cards.

After a brief discussion about her requirements and a quick look at the current design, I suggested a ‘redesign’ was in order.

However, she needed to send them to print with Vista Print within 24 hours so that she could take advantage of their special. So off to work I went. An hour later, I had the new design complete, proofs done and ready for print and one happy customer.

Here are the results, which are 150% more striking than the original. If you need a quick design fix, business cards or logo design give me a call, I’m happy to look at any job big or small – send me an email with your brief.

Responsive design is a selling point in web design…

My latest web project has been for ‘13004Dance Supplies‘, specialising in dance apparel, shoes and accessories.

I used a ‘responsive’ design theme for this shopping cart as it adapts to the device in which it is being viewed on, e.g. desktop, iPad, iPhone and makes for a much more accessible and quicker navigation to the items you wish to shop for.

This cart has been built using WooCommerce and supports Paypal functionality.

Pop over and view 13004Dance Supplies website and forward onto others that may require some of their products. Or alternatively, if you are thinking of setting up at shopping cart, but thought it was out of your price range, drop me a quick email with your requirements and i’ll provide you with a quote, which I’m sure you will find appealing.

Introducing…”Sweet Caroline’s Cakes” new logo design

Just a little project I recently finished for another Point Cook mum in business. Caroline already had a very clear vision of what she was after, which certainly made designing the logo a much easier and quicker job for me! Pop over and like her page, she has some amazing cake designs!

Introducing… the brand new website for ‘Elenya Performing Arts Centre’!

The lovely Donna de Paoli from Elenya PAC approached me about redesigning her website and giving it some style, beauty and pizzazz!

Elenya PAC have recently relocated to new studios and with that move came the opportunity of some ‘rebranding’. The dance studio is now in a fantastic location, providing much bigger studios and offering dance classes from ballet, jazz, tap, hiphop and very excited to announce a new acrobatics class starting on Saturday afternoons!

Donna is now looking at taking her dancewear shop front ‘online’, so watch this space for our next web venture together…

Launching: One in a Mill Media!

I’m very excited to announce the official launch of my new business ‘One in a Mill Media’!

It’s been a long time coming…  but after five years of study, two years of procrastinating, I have FINALLY managed to get my website done and I am now open for business!

So, if you need a website, or know of someone who might, please send them my details as I would love to hear from you!

Alternatively, I will be offering services for graphic design, desktop publishing, video production and social media introduction or management.

As part of my website packages, I will be launching an online tutorial service and simple ‘how-to’ guides to all my WordPress clients. This makes for a more user-friendly approach to web development and can be self-managed without incurring web administration fees.

If this sounds like something you are interested in, please don’t hesitate to contact me for a quote! Or check out the website… www.oneinamill.com.au!

Become a ‘fan’ of my facebook page to keep updated and spread the love!
